OWLS: Online Workshops for Library Skills are are part of the Humboldt State University Library's information literacy program. OWLS teach introductory college level skills for using the Library in both its physical and virtual manifestations. OWLS can be used independently or in connection with a class. They can be used individually or in any combination. Each OWL includes a statement of its purpose, a list of specific objectives, "handouts" to supplement workshop content, suggested exercises, and a quiz to check your success in meeting the objectives.
